Jane Austen Afternoon Tea

The annual Jane Austen Festival returns for the 17th year and 2017 marks the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen’s death.

Bath expects nearly 4000 people to attend over 80 events, including a world-record setting Regency Costumed Promenade which will be raising money for the Cancer Care Campaign at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

There will be plenty of opportunities to wear gorgeous costumes around the city with costumed Promenades, a country-dance at Bath’s Guildhall on the first weekend of the Festival, and famous masked ball held in The Roman Baths and here at The Pump Room on Friday 15th Sept.

To really get into the spirit of things, there’s no better way than to enjoy the splendour of our Georgian restaurant whilst savouring the delights of our especially created Jane Austen Tea – an absolutely perfect way to re-create the scene and complete the experience.

This beautifully elegant, Jane Austen Tea includes the following:

  • A pot of Pump Room blend loose leaf tea
  • A glass of Fentimans ginger beer
  • Bath chap & ham hock terrine
  • Mini Bath bun
  • Egg custard & nutmeg tart
  • Seasonal fruit syllabub dessert

£26.00 per person
